Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Admin Support – Library professional to assist in the smooth day-to-day operations of the school library. The role involves administrative coordination, resource management, and supporting students and staff in accessing library services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in cataloguing, issuing, and returning library books and resources
  • Maintain and update the library database and records
  • Support students and staff in locating books and digital resources
  • Manage library inventory, shelving, and organization
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement of books and materials
  • Ensure a quiet, organized, and student-friendly library environment
  • Provide administrative support for library events, reading programs, and activities
  • Handle basic reporting and documentation

Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline (Library Science preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in library/admin support roles
  • Basic knowledge of library management systems (LMS)
  • Good organizational and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a school or academic library
  • Familiarity with digital libraries and e-resources
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
