Airline Customer Support Specialist – Remote USA – $18–$23hr

About the Role

We are hiring Airline Customer Support Specialists to work fully remote for a major US carrier or airline staffing partner. You will handle inbound passenger contacts across voice, chat, and email, resolving travel-related issues professionally and efficiently. Prior airline or travel industry experience is a strong advantage but not required.

What You Will Do

  • Handle inbound calls and digital contacts from airline passengers across multiple channels
  • Assist with flight bookings, cancellations, date changes, and seat assignments
  • Process travel waivers and rebooking for disrupted flights, weather events, and irregular operations
  • Explain airline policies on baggage fees, carry-on allowances, and travel documents
  • Manage escalations from passengers requiring supervisor-level assistance
  • Accurately document all contacts in the airline CRM within the required timeframe

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; some college preferred
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in travel, hospitality, or a contact center
  • Calm, empathetic communication style for handling stressed or disrupted travelers
  • Proficiency in GDS systems (SABRE, Amadeus, or Worldspan) is a plus
  • Home office setup: PC/laptop, USB headset, webcam, and 25+ Mbps internet
