Job Overview

Youll be part of the Amazon warehouse team sorting, scanning, and stacking customer orders by zip code for delivery. Attention to detail helps make sure every package reaches the right customer on time. The role is active — expect to be on your feet, lifting and moving packages throughout your shift.
Basic Job Requirements

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Understand and follow instructions in English
  • Lift up to 49 pounds
  • You must be able to pass a job assessment in English
  • Team lift packages above 50 pounds or greater than 90 inches
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear such as personal protective equipment (PPE) to move items around
  • Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
  • Use step stool
  • Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
What You’ll Do

  • Receive inventory and sort by zip code
  • Sort packages from conveyor belts
  • Stack packages and wrap pallets for deliveries
  • Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printer
  • Unload containers and packages from trailers
  • Load containers and packages into trailers
Schedule Options

  • Shift Options. Early Morning, Daytime, Evening, and Overnight.
  • Weekly Hours. Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time, or Part-Time (20-29 hours).
  • Work-Life Balance. Opportunities for overtime when available.
  • Operating Hours. Our sites may operate 24/7, which means more shifts for you.
  • Onboarding Training.Youll complete on-the-job training during your first few days. In some cases, your training schedule will match the shift you selected. In other cases, youll have a fixed training schedule before transitioning to your chosen schedule.
