American Airlines Reservation Agent – Remote – $16–$20hr – No Experience

About the Role

American Airlines is seeking Remote Reservation Agents to assist customers with booking flights, making itinerary changes, and managing travel plans. This is an entry-level-friendly role — no prior airline experience is needed. You will receive full paid training on airline systems and booking tools before taking your first live call.

What You Will Do

  • Answer inbound reservation calls and assist customers in booking new flights
  • Process itinerary changes, upgrades, and cancellations using the airline reservation system (SABRE/Amadeus)
  • Provide fare quotes, explain baggage fees, and describe available cabin classes
  • Assist customers with AAdvantage mileage redemption and award booking
  • Upsell seat upgrades, travel insurance, and add-on services where appropriate
  • Follow all airline policies and FAA/TSA compliance requirements in customer interactions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; no college degree required
  • No prior airline experience necessary — paid training provided
  • Clear and professional spoken English communication
  • Basic computer proficiency — ability to navigate multiple screens and type 30+ WPM
  • Quiet, dedicated home workspace with reliable internet (20+ Mbps)
  • Available for rotational shifts including evenings and weekends
