Application Testing Developer

<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Application Testing Developer</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Harrisburg, PA – Remote (Candidates must be in the US and be video-capable during work hours in EST. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: AZ, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MO, NC, SC, NJ, PA, TX, VA, WV.)</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> $66K–$78K + Benefits</p><p><br></p><p>Job Description</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Playwright.</li><li>Collaborate with application developers, product owners, and QA teams to validate requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.</li><li>Execute, monitor, and optimize automated tests across multiple environments.</li><li>Identify, document, and track defects with clear, actionable detail.</li><li>Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to automation and development best practices.</li><li>Build and maintain testing documentation including test plans, cases, and results.</li><li>Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating and maintaining automated test suites.</li><li>Troubleshoot test automation issues related to environments, script performance, or application behavior.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of professional experience in software development, QA engineering, or test automation.</li><li>Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript development.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Cypress and Playwright for automated testing of web applications or dashboards.</li><li>Proven experience building, scaling, and maintaining automated test suites for enterprise web applications.</li><li>Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, REST APIs, JSON, and modern web application architecture.</li><li>Experience using Git or other version control systems.</li><li>Familiarity working with CI/CD environments such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional software teams and follow structured development processes.</li><li>Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with performance or load testing tools.</li><li>Knowledge of test reporting or dashboarding tools for automation metrics.</li><li>Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.</li><li>Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and contributing to continuous improvement.</li><li>Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to design scalable and maintainable testing architectures.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p><ul><li>Degree, certification copies, and photo ID will be required for submission.</li></ul><p></p>
