As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious Business Development & Partnerships Representative to help expand our network, develop new client relationships, and create strategic partnerships throughout Southern California.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, building relationships, and uncovering opportunities.

You won't be sitting behind a desk making hundreds of cold calls. Instead, you'll be out in the community connecting with business owners, marketing teams, HR departments, event planners, operations leaders, and organizations that can benefit from our services.

You'll act as a connector between businesses and the solutions we provide, helping brands discover new ways to elevate their marketing, packaging, employee engagement, events, and customer experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Build relationships with local businesses, agencies, organizations, and decision-makers
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, chamber meetings, business mixers, and industry events
  • Generate new business opportunities through outreach, referrals, LinkedIn, and in-person networking
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings for our team
  • Identify opportunities for branded merchandise, packaging, print campaigns, apparel programs, fulfillment, direct mail, and custom marketing solutions
  • Develop strategic referral partnerships with agencies, consultants, event planners, and complementary service providers
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospective clients
  • Follow up consistently and professionally with leads and opportunities
  • Represent USP Group as a trusted branding and marketing solutions partner
  • Track outreach activities and opportunities within our CRM

Who You Are

  • Outgoing, professional, and relationship-driven
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport
  • Naturally curious and skilled at identifying business opportunities
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
  • Interested in branding, marketing, business development, events, promotional products, packaging, or advertising
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, recruiting, account management, marketing, or customer-facing roles is a plus

Compensation

  • $20-$30 per hour, depending on experience
  • $30 bonus for every qualified meeting booked and attended
  • Commission opportunities on new business generated
  • Significant earning potential for top performers

This position combines office-based work with networking, client visits, events, and community outreach throughout Orange County and surrounding areas.
