Personal attention, timely communication, and respect for all people are the basis of our business philosophy!At this point, Zelh is looking for a Carrier Sales Representative for one of our clients.The Carrier Sales Rep will further expand company’s Qualified Carrier network, develop competitive carrier pricing and capacity, manage carrier performance and internal carrier selection process for different business verticals.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Being responsible for finding dedicated capacity</li><li>Being in charge of building out routing guides for key customer lanes</li><li>Strengthen existing carrier partnerships and build new strategic relationships to expand company’s Qualified Carrier network</li><li>Helping qualify new carriers interested in joining company’s Qualified Carrier network</li><li>Streamline quick and efficient processes for carrier qualification and onboarding</li><li>Being responsible for driving Qualified carrier TSA compliance</li><li>Being in charge of ensuring Qualified carriers maintain their driver training compliance with company’s risk management team</li><li>Assisting the QCs through the levels of qualification</li><li>Understand company’s value proposition to carriers and create internal initiatives to generate focus on new carrier partner opportunities</li><li>Work collaboratively with all departments to drive efficiencies and company focus on building out the Qualified Carrier NetworkNON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</li><li>Attends all required training and staff meetings</li><li>Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices</li><li>Maintains a positive and professional demeanor towards customers, visitors, and co-workers</li><li>Adheres to all policies and procedures of the company</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul> • 2 years + of experience in a carrier sales or brokerage role• Experience in drafting and negotiating logistics service contracts (transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, import/export etc.) • Knowledge of the logistics services and logistics technology industry required • Knowledge of procurement and purchasing procedures required • Strong communication, analytical and project management skills is a must. • Knowledge of transportation regulations/law desired • Ability to manage in a multitask role • Excellent written and verbal communication • Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills • Demonstrate proficiency composing written communication, proofreading and editing • Resourceful, well-organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail-oriented • Ability to exercise initiative, good judgment, time management and problem-solving skills • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office• BS or BA degree (SupplyChain/Logistics, Operations), preferredWorking conditions:<ul><li>Working schedule - Mon-Fri 8 am - 5 pm CST</li><li>Competitive Salary in USD</li><li>Remote mode of work</li><li>10+ business days of paid time off</li><li>Team building and corporate events</li><li>Equipment provided</li><li>A supportive team</li><li>Remote eligibility</li></ul>Join our team and become an integral part of our mission to provide reliable and efficient freight transportation solutions to our customers.
