Construction Contracts Manager - Opportunity for Remote

<p>We are partnering with a premier construction company specializing MEP on a search for a contracts manager to join their growing legal department. The ideal candidate will be able to commute to Dulles, VA when needed but fully remote candidates will also be considered. The position requires specific construction industry experience and will be responsible for managing anywhere from 3-5 contract specialists while also handling contract drafting, review, and negotiation. <strong> </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Leads a team of 3–5 Contract Specialists supporting high-volume construction operations across multiple business units</li><li>Acts as the escalation point on complex agreements (MSAs, subcontracts, vendor agreements) impacting project risk, timelines, and profitability</li><li>Standardizes contract review into a “one company” model—eliminating inefficiencies and reducing exposure across divisions</li><li>Partners with operations, legal, and executive leadership to ensure risk transfer strategies (indemnity, insurance, limitation of liability) are aligned and enforced</li><li>Implements contract management tools and collaborates with IT to improve workflow visibility, tracking, and turnaround time</li><li>Establishes policies, templates, and a centralized contract library to drive consistency across projects</li><li>Provides leadership with real-time insight into contractual risk, market shifts, and project-level exposure</li><li>Develops training programs that elevate contract awareness across project managers and business leaders</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This is a high-visibility role with executive exposure, ownership of enterprise-wide transformation, and direct impact on project profitability and risk mitigation.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Our specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster.</strong></p>
