Data Migration Engineer II

The Data Migration Engineer II is responsible for designing, building, testing, and executing data migration solutions that support Oracle Health implementation and interface projects. 
 
As part of the Data Management and Migration Delivery Team, this role works with clients and internal stakeholders to analyze business requirements, map and normalize data, establish acceptance testing criteria, and ensure successful migration of healthcare data into Oracle Health solutions. The position requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills to deliver high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.
 

 

Qualifications:
  • 2 + years of experience in a technical role, (data migration, system migration, ETL engagement). 
  • 2 + years of experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution. 
  • A BS in computer science or related field. 
  • Proficiency in SQL and Linux back-end command experience.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts.
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable to your position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Python, C# CCL.
  • Experience in workflow documentation.
  • At least 2+ years of experience working on Data Migration or Interoperability FHIR/HL7
  • At least 2+ years of experience and a solid understanding of database technologies
  • Experience in Electronic Medical Record workflow documentation. 
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position
 
Expectations:
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned. 
  • Willing to travel up to 10% as needed. 
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations. 
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
