Director, Analytics, New Verticals Consumer
Description:
- Lead and grow a team of data science and analytics leaders and practitioners across a portfolio spanning early-stage products and high-traffic consumer surfaces.
- Own the analytical direction for NV Consumer, including goal formulation, opportunity identification frameworks, data tools for cross-functional partners, and experimentation and measurement.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Strategy & Operations, Design, and Finance leaders to influence roadmap, growth strategy, and investment decisions.
- Build the operating system for decision-making by improving data foundations and enabling broader data access through AI-enabled tooling.
- Connect short-term measurement with long-term business outcomes to improve prioritization and decision-making across the organization.
- Operate with broad scope and high autonomy in a fast-moving environment while contributing to a scaled analytics organization.
- Drive impact as a cross-functional leader within a large and fast-growing business unit.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Significant experience leading senior teams and developing managers.
- Strong product and business analytics judgment with experience defining metrics and building decision frameworks.
- Track record of influencing strategy in ambiguous environments.
- Deep expertise in experimentation and causal inference.
- Comfort making decisions with imperfect data, evolving products, and non-obvious tradeoffs.
- Hands-on technical fluency in SQL and statistical analysis.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and business leaders.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations that drive action.
