Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all air traffic control functions. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure optimal operational efficiency and safety. Manage budgets, resources, and staffing for air traffic control operations. Ensure strict adherence to all relevant national and international aviation regulations and standards. Collaborate with regulatory bodies, airlines, airports, and other aviation stakeholders to enhance airspace utilization and safety. Lead emergency response planning and execution for air traffic control-related incidents. Drive innovation in air traffic management technologies and processes. Oversee the training and professional development of air traffic control personnel. Represent the organization in industry forums and conferences. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in air traffic control operations, with at least 7 years in a senior management or leadership role. FAA Air Traffic Controller certification and extensive experience in managing ATC operations. In-depth knowledge of air traffic control systems, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Proven track record of successful operational management, strategic planning, and budget control. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive organizational change. Strong understanding of aviation safety principles and risk management.
