We are looking for a self-motivated estimator who can work alongside a number of our team.To be successful as an estimator, you should stay up-to-date with estimating software, material pricing and manufacturing processes. You should be willing to follow company policies, values and requirements and be able to work on a schedule. An exceptional estimator will demonstrate impeccable attention to detail, strong organizational skills and sound knowledge of fabrication, sheet metal and production processes. What You’ll Do <ul> <li>Start and manage quotes within Zoho estimating systems. </li> <li>Review quote requests and identify any missing information required for accurate pricing. </li> <li>Enter materials, labour and processing requirements into estimates. </li> <li>Ensure folded items are listed separately and correctly detailed. </li> <li>Create and maintain organised OneDrive job folders and subfolders for all quote documentation. </li> <li>Save and manage drawings, DXF files, LXD files and related customer documentation. </li> <li>Complete nesting in CypCut and calculate sheet quantities, cut times and folding requirements. </li> <li>Estimate jobs manually where DXF files are unavailable or refer jobs to drafting when required. </li> <li>Obtain supplier pricing for coatings, galvanising and freight where applicable. </li> <li>Apply drafting allowances and company markup structures as required. </li> <li>Add all part quantities and descriptions from customer quote requests accurately. </li> <li>Assign quote ownership and ensure quotes are completed, saved and filed correctly. </li> <li>Identify and communicate potential production or estimating issues to the rest of the team. </li> <li>Be willing to join team meetings and be on screen during the day. </li> <li>Be willing to use additional software and systems for estimating, file storage and nesting processes. </li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3>What You Bring We’re looking for someone who: <ul> <li>Experience in estimating, fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing environments preferred. </li> <li>Experience using estimating and nesting software such as Zoho and CypCut favourable. </li> <li>Strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes, folding and production workflows. </li> <li>Ability to organise and maintain accurate digital records and job folders. </li> <li>Ability to work well in a team and independently. </li> <li>Ability to work to schedules and pivot where needed. </li> <li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. </li> <li>Ability to respond well to feedback and maintain a positive attitude </li> </ul>Core Values <ul> <li>Quality – Products consistently meet customer expectations. </li> <li>Reliability – We perform as expected, every time. </li> <li>Honesty – We are always truthful in our words, actions, and decisions. </li> <li>Responsibility – We are consistently accountable for our actions and commitments </li> </ul> <h3>Benefits</h3>Why You’ll Love Working Here <ul> <li>HMO, Dental, and Life Insurance for you and one free dependent from day one (with option to enroll more) </li> <li>Paid Leaves: Birthday, Vacation, Medical, and Maternity (up to 6 Vacation Leaves convertible to cash on your anniversary) </li> <li>Employee Engagement Activities: Year-End Party, Family Day, Team Building, and more </li> </ul>Let’s Talk If you’re thinking “this sounds like me”—it probably is.
