Fleet Readiness Lead, LA
Description:
- Oversee market fleet readiness to ensure the Waymo fleet meets service, performance, and operational standards.
- Lead and support diagnostic technicians by setting priorities and managing execution of daily work.
- Provide daily support to vendors and hold them accountable for compliance and performance.
- Maintain fleet health and readiness by proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with internal teams and external partners.
- Collaborate with diagnostic technicians to monitor fleet health and implement corrective actions.
- Support vendor operations and coordinate cross-functional issue resolution to keep the fleet ready for Ride-Hail service.
- Maintain consistent adherence to established operational processes.
- Provide performance updates and insights to the Fleet Manager and Head of Global Fleet Readiness.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a commercial operations and logistics role with a focus on fleet readiness initiatives.
- Proven ability to execute daily operational tasks while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external partners, and executives.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify gaps, and make informed decisions.
- Up to 25% travel is required.
- Preferred experience building relationships and fostering cross-functional alignment.
- Preferred leadership experience coaching teams, setting objectives, and providing guidance.
- Preferred ability in analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving, risk assessment, and long-term planning.
- Preferred experience proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Preferred ability to lead with a clear vision and motivate teams toward common goals.

- $152,000 to $192,000 USD base salary range.
