The Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM) is the primary sales representative responsible for the achievement of sales objectives and growth targets for our mid market and small medium enterprise customers. Territory includes exciting opportunities to grow smaller existing customers and establish new customers.

As an Inside Sales Account Manager dedicated to Siemens Digital Industries, you will work closely with our business to business customers, leveraging our field sales and distribution partners, to provide innovative and environmentally friendly solutions through our digital channels. You play an important part contributing to overall customer happiness and achieving annual sales growth aspirations.

We are looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager. This position will have hybrid remote capability and will be based in Alpharetta, GA.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Virtual selling is not just a buzzword for you: You target a balanced blend of engagement (e.g. Digital selling, virtual communication) with customers via digital enabled actions to ensure outstanding customer experience.
  • Understanding customer needs and guiding decision making towards Siemens Solutions through compelling storytelling today and tomorrow.
  • You have a passion for technology, products, and services within the area of industrial automation, and digitalization, understanding their value and the ability to help customers get the most out of our portfolio. (e.g., HMI, SINAMICS, SIMATIC).
  • Thanks to your reliable consulting and proactive nature, you represent yourself at eye level for your customers and show the ability and confidence to work through tough situations if they arise.
  • Personally, you capitalize with excellent listening skills and an honest, open communication style which generates excitement over the phone or in video calls.
  • Ensure positive customer experiences by embracing a vast Siemens Ecosystem including: Field Sales, Product Marketing, the Distributor Sales Team etc. Success in this role will include collaborating with and leveraging partnership with US distribution channels and external industry associations/partner organizations.
  • Use various tools (e.g., Salesforce CRM and Outreach) to manage, monitor and track opportunities on a timely basis, as well as document & research customer information.
  • Achieve and exceed personal sales targets.
  • Find incremental business opportunities and drive closure within the targeted prospect and customer account base.

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 2+ years of experience selling to business to business customers
  • Sales training, including handling.
  • Must have firsthand training and/or experience with CRM systems.
  • Ability to generate prospective customers via warm and cold calling as assigned, as well as determined focus on follow up with decision makers and forward movement throughout the sales cycle.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical requirements for specific solutions being sold.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equal professional work experience.
  • Industrial background in Technology sales
  • Prior experience using Salesforce as a CRM
