Our IV lounge supports patients with nuanced medical needs and wellness goals, and we prioritize safety, clinical judgment, and patient experience. Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced IV RN who has worked at an integrative functional medicine clinic for at least 1-3 years (required) to join our team three fixed weekdays per week in a predictable, daytime clinical role. This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys infusion work, has experience and acumen in supervision and growth strategies, values working on their own as well as collaborating with others. This is a fast-paced, start-up environment requiring strong foundational skills and a quick ramp-up. Training will cover our specific formulas and workflows. We are a boutique clinic with high standards for service. Schedule<ul><li>Three fixed days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday </li><li>Days are set in advance and remain consistent week to week</li><li>Clinic hours between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (30 hours per week)</li><li>No nights, no weekends, no major holidays</li></ul> Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Highly skilled in IV placement with a one-stick standard</li><li>Start and manage peripheral IVs, PICC lines, ports; monitor infusions and patient response</li><li>Perform intake vitals and focused assessments related to IV therapy</li><li>Administer IV vitamin and therapeutic infusions per protocol</li><li>Phlebotomy services</li><li>Educate patients on IV therapies and services within scope and clinic guidelines</li><li>Document care accurately in the EMR</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and calm IV lounge environment</li><li>Collaborate closely with our integrative providers and clinic team</li><li>Supervises the IV department and its results</li><li>Grow the department usage and revenue by 35%</li><li>A clear communicator with a warm and professional bedside manner</li><li>Someone who embodies the wellness lifestyle and reflects the medicine we practice</li><li>Must be confident operating independently as the only clinical staff on-site during IV clinic hours as needed.</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>Local to Washington DC area or DMV</li><li>Active DC RN license in good standing</li><li>RN Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school, required</li><li>BLS Certification (Required)</li><li>BC/BE (Preferred)</li><li>2–3+ years of clinical IV therapy experience (non-emergency room, outpatient, oncology, or infusion center); has worked in a previous functional medicine/Lyme clinic (preferred)</li><li>Strong IV skills and sound clinical judgment</li><li>Comfortable working independently in a small, collaborative setting</li><li>Interest or experience in integrative or functional medicine</li><li>Professional, patient-centered, warm, personable, and detail-oriented</li><li>Proficient in technology and multi-tasking with a virtual team during clinic hours</li></ul> Compensation<ul><li>Up to $60/hour, depending on IV therapy, integrative, and functional medicine experience</li><li>Part-time 30-hour W-2 position</li><li>Paid training and onboarding</li><li>Additional revenue-share bonus based on productivity</li></ul>This compensation reflects the experience level required for safe, independent infusion care in a luxury boutique clinical setting.
