Job Responsibilities: -

  • Assist the Financial Controller in finance, accounting and corporate support functions including planning, organizing, monitoring and daily finance operations;
  • Support the preparation of management reports, project P&L, cash flow projections, variance analysis, annual budget and other financial reports required by management;
  • Assist in the preparation of Group consolidation financial statements and review of subsidiaries’ financial reports to ensure accuracy and timely submission;
  • Support project financing matters including coordination with internal departments and bankers for financing documentation, project cash flow and financing applications;
  • Coordinate and monitor project financing schedules, terms and related documentation;
  • Assist in monitoring intercompany transactions, AR & AP balances and cash flow matters within the Group
  • Support tax compliance matters including tax estimation, tax computation and coordination with tax agents and authorities;
  • Assist in statutory audit matters and ensure timely submission of audit schedules and regulatory filings;
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, solicitors and government authorities when required;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and statutory requirements;
  • Undertake ad hoc assignments and other duties assigned by management.
Requirements: -
  • Degree in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or related field);
  • Candidates with relevant working experience in finance and accounting are encouraged to apply;
  • Junior candidates / fresh graduates with good learning attitude may also be considered;
  • Exposure in group consolidation accounting, project financing, audit or corporate finance would be an added advantage;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge in ERP Accounting Systems (such as IFCA, Oracle or SAP) would be an advantage;
  • Good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills;
  • Team player with positive working attitude, adaptable and willing to learn.
