About the Library Branch Manager (Librarian III)
Library Branch Managers will join a dynamic team of librarians, library professionals, and administrators at San Antonio Public Library (SAPL). They will manage daily operations and staff for the library system’s 28 branch libraries, inspire staff, innovate, and energize communities through delivery of excellent library service. Multiple positions are available.

Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited university
- Three (3) years experience as a professional librarian
- One (1) year in a supervisory capacity
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising daily operations of a facility
- Experience serving as a direct supervisor to assigned staff
- Experience working with stakeholders in the community
- Spanish language proficiency
