Medical Billing Specialist – Self Pay

Job Description:

• Provide accurate and timely revenue cycle and account management services to OBS member clients
• Identify and resolve claims issues, maintaining compliance with payer requirements
• Engage in continuous process improvement
• Provide high-quality billing and customer service support to member clinics and their patients
• Manage self-pay accounts and customer inquiries or processing daily claims production

Requirements:

• Experience in billing and/or coding revenue cycle preferred
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, MVA, Workers Comp and private insurance billing and reimbursement processes
• Experience billing for Nevada highly preferred
• FQHC Experience and knowledge preferred
• Prior Self Care Experience is preferred
• Medical Billing Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), preferred
• Acute Care hospital work, rural hospital experience is required.
