We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to join our team in Cyberjaya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Oracle databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability, while working closely with development teams to support database-related needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Oracle databases to ensure their availability, performance, and security.
- Perform regular database backups and recovery operations.
- Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries as needed.
- Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with development teams to support database design and application performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to database configurations and changes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database query and performance tuning.
- Experience with database backup and recovery solutions, such as RMAN.
- Familiarity with Oracle performance tuning and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of database security practices and data protection regulations.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
