About the Role

What You Will Do

• Clean and reset occupied and checkout guest rooms including making beds to standard, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and replacing used amenities
• Scrub and sanitize bathrooms completely — toilet, tub or shower, sink, mirror, and floor — using approved hotel cleaning products
• Replace all linen including sheets, pillowcases, and towels and fold remaining items to the hotel folding standard
• Restock the room with amenities — shampoo, soap, conditioner, coffee packets, and in-room collateral — per the brand checklist
• Report room maintenance issues such as broken fixtures, faulty lighting, or HVAC problems to engineering via the housekeeping radio
• Clean and vacuum public corridors, elevator interiors, stairwells, and vending alcoves on your assigned floor
• Return lost-and-found items found in guest rooms to the housekeeping office with a completed property tag
• Complete room status updates in the housekeeping system (Opera, HotSOS, or equivalent) after each room is finished

What You Need

• Physical ability to work actively for a full shift — making beds, pushing a linen cart, and cleaning bathrooms on your feet for 4 – 6 hours
• Attention to detail — hotel rooms are inspected after cleaning and quality is measured against a standard checklist
• Reliability and consistency — the housekeeping schedule is tied to guest arrivals and departures and cannot be understaffed
• Trustworthiness — housekeepers work inside guest rooms that contain personal belongings and valuables
• Ability to work morning and early afternoon shifts (typically 8 AM – 2 PM) aligned with hotel checkout and check-in times
• Must be 18 or older — background check required

Nice to Have

• Previous hotel, motel, or resort housekeeping experience
• Familiarity with housekeeping management systems (Opera PMS, HotSOS, or REX)
• Bilingual English/Spanish — highly valued in guest-facing hotel environments
