Part-Time Online Elementary Teacher (Work From Home)

Little Explorers by Miss Mackenzie is seeking enthusiastic, reliable teachers to join our growing online learning organization. We provide engaging social studies, geography, history, and enrichment classes for elementary-aged learners through the Outschool platform.

Teachers work from home and teach live online classes to small groups of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach live online classes for elementary-aged learners.
  • Create a welcoming and engaging classroom environment.
  • Follow provided lesson plans and class guides.
  • Communicate professionally with families and organization staff.
  • Maintain reliability and punctuality for scheduled classes.
  • Provide a positive learning experience for all learners.

Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching, homeschooling, tutoring, or working with children.
  • Comfortable using Zoom and basic technology.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet teaching space.
  • Passion for working with elementary-aged students.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching online.
  • Teaching certificate or bachelor's degree.

Schedule:

Compensation:

Teachers are paid per class taught. Weekly earnings vary based on teaching schedule and enrollment. Many teachers earn supplemental income while maintaining a flexible work-from-home schedule.
