Patent Prosecution Paralegal - Fully Remote

An Intellectual Property (IP) law firm located in Dallas is seeking an IP paralegal to support IP Counsel.

JOB DUTIES

  • Assisting with the filing and prosecution of U. S. patent applications

  • Audit and manage portfolios to ensure patent applications comply with the patent prosecution process

  • Assist with internal review and analyzation of documents

  • Conduct research, monitor deadlines, draft responses to office actions, and provide general administrative support to attorneys

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of patent prosecution paralegal experience

  • Long-term paralegal experience within a law firm setting

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills; team player

  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe)

  • Strong technical skills required; formal technical training is a plus
