Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular)
Solid UX awareness — you understand user flows, information hierarchy, and can translate Figma/XD designs into clean, user-friendly interfaces
Technical SEO knowledge — page speed, structured data, crawl optimisation, Core Web Vitals, mobile-first indexing
Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4
Familiarity with Git, RESTful APIs, and standard CI/CD workflows

Responsibility

Build and maintain responsive, performant web applications and landing pages
Design, develop, maintain, and upgrade websites across the company's group portfolio
Manage and update website content, product listings, pricing, and SKU changes accurately
Customise, maintain, and update WordPress themes, plugins, and core installations
Apply UX best practices throughout development — from layout decisions to interaction design
Handle hosting tasks — domain management, DNS settings, server monitoring, and performance tuning
Manage company mailboxes — creation, configuration, troubleshooting, and storage management
Implement technical SEO: page structure, meta tags, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and crawlability
Work with the marketing team to ensure landing pages are optimised for both search ranking and conversion
Review and improve existing codebases for performance, accessibility, and maintainability
Analyse traffic and user behaviour data (GA4, Search Console) to inform development decisions
Perform regular security checks, malware scans, backups, and vulnerability monitoring
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high availability and uptime across all websites

Mentor junior developers and contribute to code review processes
