Recruiting Assistant (Entry-Level) - Onsite

Role Specific Information Job Description This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. About the Role As a Recruiting Specialist, you will execute the hourly staffing strategy to ensure locations have the appropriate staff to meet business objectives and increase employee engagement. What You’ll Do Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to move candidates through the hiring process Provide daily work progress updates to the Team Lead Follow best practices in communication, hiring, and processes to achieve staffing goals Maintain confidentiality with all candidate records and information Update communication and documentation within the ATS Ensure applications are complete and candidates follow the correct hiring process in the ATS Communicate effectively with candidates and peers throughout the hiring process Support and promote Kohl’s hourly staffing strategy Review applicants, create job requisitions, and process offers for multiple locations daily Additional tasks may be assigned What Skills You Have Required High school diploma or equivalent Ability to quickly react and change direction as needed Attention to detail Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive information regarding candidates Ability to work with multiple computer screens and knowledge of computer systems such as Google Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Previous HR experience Prior retail experience and or high-volume recruiting Working knowledge of Workday Experience assisting recruiting efforts for hourly positions Extended and weekend availability may be required Essential Functions The requirements listed below are representative of functions you will be required to perform, however you may be required to perform additional functions.
