[Remote] Account Manager - Maryland / Virginia

They are seeking an Account Manager to maximize sales through the development of new business and support existing customers using a solutions-based sales approach. Responsibilities Understand customer needs and identify how Rohde & Schwarz products can provide technical solutions Create new business opportunities and expand Rohde & Schwarz brand awareness in new and existing customers Effectively demonstrate and communicate how Rohde & Schwarz products can best solve the customers’ measurement/application needs Grow the R&S market share and exceed quota Develop and manage a strong sales funnel Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements Skills BSEE (or equivalent technical education) Due to certain US Government and prime contractor customer requirements, candidates must be a U.S. person Technical sales experience An understanding of current electronic industry technologies (aerospace & defense and semiconductor/components technologies are a plus) The ideal candidate will have a passion for selling, an intense focus on customer service, and an overwhelming desire to succeed Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills Expertise in territory and account planning The ability to travel throughout the territory with some possible out of territory and international travel Account knowledge and experience with the Mid Atlantic area and local customers is highly desired Benefits Flexible working hour models Training & continuing education Privately owned company Promoting innovation Long-term & attractive work environment Company Overview Rohde & Schwarz is an independent manufacturer of test and measurement equipment for mobile radios, radiocommunications, TV Broadcasting.
