Remote Healthcare Customer Service Specialist

About the Role

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Customer Service Specialist to join our remote workforce. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, members, and healthcare providers navigating CVS Health's wide range of pharmacy and health services. What You'll Do

  • Handle inbound calls and digital inquiries from members, patients, and providers regarding pharmacy benefits, prescriptions, and health plan coverage
  • Resolve service issues with empathy and accuracy, following HIPAA compliance standards at all times
  • Navigate multiple internal systems to access member records, claim statuses, and benefit details
  • Document all interactions thoroughly in the customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Escalate complex cases to clinical or supervisory teams when appropriate
  • Meet or exceed quality assurance benchmarks and customer satisfaction targets
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current on plan changes, new products, and compliance updates

What You Bring

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to navigate multiple software systems simultaneously in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare privacy standards
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace
