Remote Marketplace Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

DoorDash's marketplace connects millions of consumers with restaurants, grocery stores, convenience shops, and more — and maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and quality of that marketplace is mission-critical. As a Remote Marketplace Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing marketplace content, identifying quality issues, and working with merchants, product teams, and operations to ensure that DoorDash's platform consistently meets the high standards our customers expect. From menu accuracy to promotional compliance, your work will directly affect the quality of the consumer experience on DoorDash every day.

What You'll Do

  • Audit merchant menus, product listings, promotional content, and images for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance
  • Identify and investigate quality defects including incorrect pricing, missing items, duplicate listings, and misleading descriptions
  • Collaborate with merchant success, operations, and product teams to resolve quality issues at scale
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance checklists, rubrics, and documentation for ongoing marketplace audits
  • Track and report on quality metrics, defect rates, and resolution timelines using DoorDash's internal reporting tools
  • Participate in the testing and review of new marketplace features prior to broad rollout

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, marketplace operations, or content moderation roles
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle inaccuracies across large volumes of content
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making
  • Clear written communication skills for documenting QA findings and recommendations
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, information systems, or a related field preferred

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in food service, restaurant technology, or e-commerce content management
  • Familiarity with SQL or basic data querying for QA reporting purposes
