Remote Merchant Success Account Specialist

About the Role

DoorDash powers local economies by connecting consumers with the merchants they love — from the corner taco shop to national restaurant chains. Our Merchant Success team is the dedicated force ensuring that every business on DoorDash has the tools, knowledge, and support they need to maximize their performance on our platform. As a Remote Merchant Success Account Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of merchant accounts, proactively driving activation, engagement, and growth while delivering world-class service that keeps our restaurant and retail partners thriving on DoorDash.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a portfolio of DoorDash merchant accounts, serving as their primary point of contact for onboarding, support, and growth strategy
  • Proactively reach out to merchants to review their performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and implement platform optimization strategies
  • Resolve merchant issues related to menus, orders, payments, and platform technical issues with urgency and professionalism
  • Educate merchants on DoorDash tools, features, and promotional programs that drive incremental sales
  • Collaborate with operations, product, and marketing teams to relay merchant feedback and advocate for platform improvements
  • Meet or exceed monthly KPIs including merchant satisfaction scores, retention rates, and order volume growth targets

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or B2B sales
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with business clients and drive measurable outcomes
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort using analytics tools to assess merchant performance and identify opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred

Nice to Haves

  • Previous experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or food-tech industry
  • Familiarity with DoorDash Merchant Portal or similar platform management tools
