This role supports core compliance workflows, including hotline intake, investigations support, policy management, training tracking, monitoring, and third-party due diligence, and assists with subsidiary governance obligations across multiple jurisdictions. This position reports directly to the General Counsel – Drilling Services and works closely with regional management, HR, Finance, and operations. The role is well suited for a detail-oriented compliance, legal, or risk professional who can spot issues, follow through on key workflows, manage documentation carefully, and contribute across a lean legal team. ESG/ESH responsibilities are separately managed but require coordinated interaction. <h2 data-end="1228" data-start="1209" data-section-id="r8dte7">Responsibilities</h2> <h3 data-end="1264" data-start="1230" data-section-id="14havqd">Regulatory Compliance & Ethics</h3> <ul data-end="2336" data-start="1266"> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="1448" data-start="1266" data-section-id="hhshh4">Support Boart Longyear’s global compliance program and help ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies through consistent day-to-day execution and follow-through.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="1600" data-start="1449" data-section-id="1lxjqp0">Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for the Compliance Hotline, including intake, triage, routing, documentation, and tracking through resolution.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="1725" data-start="1601" data-section-id="1wmnlwz">Help identify, analyze, and escalate trends or potential issues in compliance reports and prepare insights for leadership.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="1803" data-start="1726" data-section-id="1ybp4gw">Coordinate employee compliance training and onboarding completion tracking.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="1981" data-start="1804" data-section-id="32vi73">Assist with implementation and monitoring of third-party risk management processes, including due diligence, qualification reviews, monitoring, and corrective action tracking.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="2106" data-start="1982" data-section-id="19nhtju">Assist in drafting, revising, and maintaining compliance-related policies, procedures, certifications, and communications.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="2206" data-start="2107" data-section-id="aqpk6d">Support internal investigations, including documentation, coordination, follow-up, and reporting.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="2540" data-start="2364" data-section-id="103kfog">Support the General Counsel – Drilling Services with governance activities, including board resolutions, meeting materials, regulatory filings, and related corporate records.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="2701" data-start="2541" data-section-id="1klpr3g">Maintain and update global corporate entity records, including annual reports, business registrations, statutory filings, and jurisdiction-specific deadlines.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="2819" data-start="2702" data-section-id="pn0nsa">Assist with legal entity management, restructuring initiatives, and other legal department priorities, as assigned.</li> </ul> <h2 data-end="2833" data-start="2821" data-section-id="nq27tb">Education</h2> <ul data-end="3011" data-start="2835"> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="2864" data-start="2835" data-section-id="10wej0t">Bachelor’s degree required.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="2930" data-start="2865" data-section-id="dcw7r7">Advanced degree in business, law, or a related field preferred.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="3011" data-start="2931" data-section-id="wyu0vz">Professional certifications such as CCEP, CCEP-I, CRCM, or similar are a plus.</li> </ul> <h2 data-end="3041" data-start="3013" data-section-id="1x0h9l6">Experience & Competencies</h2> <ul data-is-only-node="" data-is-last-node="" data-end="4097" data-start="3043"> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="3191" data-start="3043" data-section-id="1dhl41t">Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal support, legal operations, corporate governance, or related operational roles.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="3307" data-start="3192" data-section-id="1j33f72">Experience in industrial services, energy, mining, manufacturing, or similarly complex environments is preferred.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="3461" data-start="3308" data-section-id="1lil26h">Working knowledge of compliance program elements, including ABC frameworks, hotline processes, investigations support, and third-party risk management.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-end="3678" data-start="3462" data-section-id="kp8g2n">Experience in, or strong interest in, working in a corporate legal department, including governance support such as entity management, filings, board materials, or related work;
