The Site Superintendent is responsible for managing work sites, developing work plans, coordinating with subcontractors and mentoring field teams. They are the crucial link between the project managers and the construction site.  Attend site walks as assigned to support all CIG Fuels Programs.</span></p> <br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br><ul style="margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0px;"><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work with Project Managers to select, coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors and field assignments effectively.  </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain clear communication with the project team, clients and subcontractors regarding project status, issues and potential changes. </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Oversee material procurement, equipment maintenance and resource allocation to ensure projects have the necessary manpower and resources for timely project completion.  </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with team members, vendors, management and other departments. </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Monitor and report field execution status of their team with Project Manager and CIG/Fuels leadership. </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Assist the Project Manager in preparing and executing Request for Information (RFIs) requests with designers and engineers and when site issues arise in order to remedy issues quickly, cost effectively, and avoid schedule delays.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Foresee a project's obstacles, risks, and constraints and effectively plan around them. </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure staff perform and follow the USACE 3 phase inspection process.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Direct the enforcement of the site-specific safety plan.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Other duties which may be assigned include Quality Control Manager (QCM) and/or Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) based on specific contract requirements.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum two (2) years working on DOD fuels projects </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Possess OSHA 30 hour Safety Course</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px;
