Supply Chain Management Consultant
About the Role
Accenture's Operations and Supply Chain practice is hiring a Supply Chain Management Consultant for its Bengaluru consulting team. You will work with clients in the manufacturing, consumer goods, and retail sectors to redesign supply chain processes, implement planning tools, and achieve operational cost efficiencies. This is a full-time, onsite consulting role with significant client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct current-state assessments of client supply chain operations including procurement, demand planning, and logistics
- Design target operating models and process improvement roadmaps aligned to client business objectives
- Lead implementation of supply chain planning tools such as SAP APO, Blue Yonder, or Kinaxis
- Analyse inventory data and demand patterns to identify optimisation opportunities
- Develop business cases and ROI models to support supply chain investment decisions
- Facilitate change management and training for client operations and planning teams
- Present supply chain diagnostic findings and recommendations to C-suite stakeholders
Required Skills
- 4 to 8 years of supply chain consulting or management experience
- Strong knowledge of supply chain planning processes including S&OP, demand sensing, and inventory optimisation
- Experience with supply chain planning platforms (SAP APO/IBP, Blue Yonder, or equivalent)
- Ability to build financial models and translate supply chain improvements into cost savings
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA from a reputed institution with a specialisation in Operations or Supply Chain Management
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
- Industry experience in FMCG, automotive, or pharmaceutical supply chains
