This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more<br><br>information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13564823<br><br>Primary Purpose:\<br><br>To support the Districts vision to create a student-centered environment<br><br>where all members of the\<br><br>school-community are empowered to parcipate and thrive academically,<br><br>civically, and socially through\<br><br>relevant educaonal experiences to achieve and fulfill their lifes<br><br>purpose.\<br><br>Qualificaons:\<br><br>Educaon/Cerficaon: Bachelors degree in educaon and acve Kansas teaching<br><br>license\<br><br>Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of content and instruconal<br><br>strategies, excellent\<br><br>organizaonal, communicaon, and interpersonal skills; ability to instruct<br><br>students and\<br><br>manage their behavior; ability to present informaon one-on-one, small<br><br>group, and\<br><br>large group situaons to students, families, and district staff\<br><br>Experience:\<br><br><strong>Major Responsibilies And Dues<br><br></strong>Instruct assigned classes in the locaons and at the mes designated.<br><br>Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and<br><br>abilies of the students.<br><br>Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and<br><br>appropriate to the maturity\<br><br>and interests of the students.<br><br>Prepare for classes assigned, and show wrien evidence of preparaon upon<br><br>request of the\<br><br>administraon.<br><br>Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.<br><br>Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum<br><br>standards by establishing clear\<br><br>objecves for all lessons, units and projects and communicate these<br><br>objecves to students.<br><br>Employ a variety of instruconal techniques, technology, and instruconal<br><br>media, consistent\<br><br>with the physical limitaons of the locaon provided and the needs and<br><br>capabilies of the\<br><br>individuals or student groups involved.<br><br>Strive to implement by instrucon and acon the districts philosophy of<br><br>educaon and\<br><br>instruconal standards.<br><br>Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide<br><br>progress reports as\<br><br>required.<br><br>Connually assess the needs of students and refer to the appropriate<br><br>building level individual(s)\<br><br>when learning concerns have been idenfied.<br><br>Take all necessary and reasonable precauons to protect students,<br><br>equipment, materials, and\<br><br>facilies.<br><br>Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by the<br><br>teachers negoated\<br><br>agreement, Board of Educaon policy, administrave regulaon, and laws of<br><br>the state of Kansas.<br><br>Assist the administraon in implemenng all policies and rules governing<br><br>students.
