Warehouse Inventory Control Associate

About the Role

Warehouse Jobs is recruiting a meticulous and reliable Warehouse Inventory Control Associate for distribution centers located across the Pacific Northwest. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of assigned warehouse locations using handheld scan devices
  • Investigate and document inventory discrepancies between system records and physical counts
  • Reconcile count variances by tracing putaway errors, mispicks, or receiving mistakes through system audit trails
  • Update inventory records in the warehouse management system following approved adjustment procedures
  • Partner with receiving and shipping teams to verify in-transit inventory and resolve shipment shortages
  • Maintain accurate bin and location labeling across all storage zones in the facility
  • Generate daily inventory health reports for the warehouse manager summarising count progress and open variances

Required Skills

  • 1 to 3 years of warehouse inventory, cycle counting, or stockroom experience
  • Proficiency with WMS platforms or handheld scanning devices for inventory transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy when reconciling count data
  • Ability to work independently during count windows with minimal supervision
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate a manual pallet jack

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with inventory systems such as Manhattan Associates, SAP WM, or NetSuite
  • Familiarity with FIFO and LIFO rotation methods in perishable or high-turnover product environments
  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field is a plus
