Warehouse Logistics Coordinator Associate

The Elite Job is hiring a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator Associate for its Twin Cities distribution operations in Minnesota. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight schedules with carriers, 3PLs, and internal shipping and receiving teams
- Manage dock door assignments and trailer yard movements to ensure smooth freight flow throughout the day
- Process and track outbound shipment bookings in the TMS (Transportation Management System) and confirm pickup windows with carriers
- Maintain shipping documentation including BOLs, PODs, freight invoices, and carrier confirmation records
- Investigate freight claims and carrier discrepancies, communicating with carrier representatives to resolve short shipments and damage disputes
- Support the warehouse manager with daily operational reporting including on-time shipment rates, carrier performance, and outbound volume summaries
- Assist with coordinating expedited shipments for urgent customer orders or production shortages
Required Skills
- 2 to 4 years of warehouse, logistics, or transportation coordination experience
- Familiarity with TMS platforms and standard shipping documentation (BOL, POD, commercial invoice)
- Strong organisational skills for managing multiple carrier relationships and shipment timelines simultaneously
- Good communication skills for interacting with drivers, carriers, and internal operations teams
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for tracking, scheduling, and reporting tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TMS platforms such as MercuryGate, Oracle TMS, or project44
- Working knowledge of LTL, FTL, and parcel shipping modes and carrier rate structures
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration
