Weekend Nurse Practitioner (Skilled Nursing) Avir at El Paso

If this sounds like you, let's talk!<br><br>El Paso, Texas<br><br><strong>Major Responsibilties <br><br></strong><ul><li>As the SNF-ist, you will act as a Skilled Nursing Facility’s leading provider of internal medicine services on Saturday and Sunday.</li><li>You will collaborate with the facility’s interdisciplinary team and physicians to reduce hospitalizations on weekends. </li><li>You will work with the entire facility’s patient population - short and long-term residents with the assistance of the facility’s nursing staff and guidance from the facility’s medical directors and attending physicians</li><li>Evaluation of new-admission visits</li><li>Coordination of discharge visits</li><li>Evaluations for patients exhibiting changes in condition</li><li>As a SNF-ist, you will provide types of care, including but not limited to:</li><li>Advanced Care Planning</li><li>Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease</li><li>Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments</li><li>Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients</li><li>Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures</li><li>Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities</li><li>Communicate with attending physicians and/or specialists regarding patient care<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li>A healthy work-life balance with flexibility.</li><li>Malpractice insurance and tale coverage for $1MM/$3MM coverage will be provided by Company.</li><li>Revenue-split compensation. </li><li>401k with Company match<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) with a Texas license</li><li>Must have an active license and DEA number. </li><li>Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields.</li><li>Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved ones.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare setting.</li><li>Master’s degree required</li></ul>
