Year Leader - The Coleshill School

The Coleshill School are seeking an exceptional Year Leader (Non-Teaching) to join our dedicated pastoral team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the educational experience and wellbeing of our students in a thriving and ambitious 11–18 school.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outstanding pastoral leadership for a designated year group.

Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance and student wellbeing.

Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers and external agencies.

Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving success.

Monitor attendance, behaviour and progress, implementing effective interventions where required.

Work closely with teaching staff, safeguarding teams and senior leaders to ensure students receive the support they need.

Champion the school's values of "Work Hard, Be Kind and Take Responsibility."

What you'll need to succeed

Experience of working with young people in an educational, youth work or pastoral setting.

Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Be organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.

Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Can motivate, support and challenge students to achieve their very best.
